Pelican is a platform for building websites - blogs, mostly - in a way that demands very little from the hosting server. It's really secure and fast, and it doesn't really require configuration or databases on the server-side.
I was intrigued by this, and decided to try it out. As I explored Pelican, I looked for a gallery of themes, and I couldn't find one, so my first project with Pelican is making a browsable gallery of the themes that are available.
For the demos, I used sample Wordpress content from WPCandy and imported it to Pelican, Markdown format. There are definitely some rough spots, but this is enough to start with.
